Zusammenfassung:	A system for regulating skin temperature includes an insulated unit including at least one opening for receiving an appendage of a user, a controller for setting a target internal temperature of the insulated unit, a temperature probe for measuring an actual internal temperature of the insulated unit, and a thermoelectric unit for providing at least one of heated and cooled air into the insulated unit for at least one of raising and lowering the actual internal temperature of the insulated unit. The controller is configured to control power and voltage provided to the thermoelectric unit to maintain the actual internal temperature within the target internal temperature range, such that the skin temperature of the appendage in the insulated unit is regulated within the target internal temperature range while providing medical treatment to the user.
