Zusammenfassung:	According to an aspect of the present invention, a pressure-relief valve is provided, the valve comprising a main body (1) equipped to be fastened to a flexible package material. The main body having at least one through hole (14) forming a passage through the main body. A valve membrane (2) lies, on a package side, against the main body in a region around the hole (14), and a sealing liquid between the main body (1) and the valve membrane (2). The valve comprises a water-soluble polymer, meaning that at least one component of the valve, for example the main body (1),is made of a polymer composition that comprises a water-soluble polymer.
