Zusammenfassung:	The plansifter or the semolina purifier has at least one screening compartment with an arrangement of a plurality of screening elements with screens (23). The screening compartments can be set to oscillate, for example in the form of circular movements. At least one of the screens (23) is designed as a flat body, in particular a metal sheet. The screen holes are present as through-holes. According to a first option, the screen can be present as a metal screen with etched through-holes. According to a second option, the metal screen can be manufactured by an additive manufacturing method. It is shown that, by providing the screen as a flat body with through-holes, the efficiency of the fractionating process can be markedly improved by comparison with woven screens.
