Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a proton-exchange membrane fuel cell (1) comprising a stack of a plurality of cells (30), the stack being sandwiched between a first clamping plate (23) and a second clamping plate (23) in order to apply a predetermined clamping pressure to the stack, one of the clamping plates (23) comprising at least one tapered seat (43) leading into a through-hole, the stack (1) comprising at least one clamping device that comprises a tie rod (44) and a tapered washer (45) received by the tapered seat (43) in such a way that the tapered portions are facing one another, the tie rod (44) being held in position by a first of its ends by the tapered washer (45) so as to apply a clamping pressure to the stack.
