Zusammenfassung: | The present invention improves the corrosion resistance and thermal shock resistance of a refractory product for use in continuous casting of a zirconia-carbonaceous material and a refractory product member. The refractory product according to the present invention contains a free carbon component in an amount of 8% by mass to 16% by mass inclusive, in which the remaining main component comprises a zirconia component and the total content of another components other than the free carbon component and the zirconia component is less than 5% by mass. When the proportion of a part excluding a structure composed of the free carbon component from a structure of the refractory product is defined as 100% by volume, refractory product particles each having a particle diameter of more than 0.3 mm account for 5% by volume or more and refractory product particles each having a particle diameter of 0.045 mm or less account for 5% by volume to 40% by volume inclusive. With respect to a coarse particle having at least a largest particle size among the refractory product particles in the refractory product, an approximately continuous void layer having a shape similar to the shape of the coarse particle is present around the coarse particle. The refractory product has an apparent porosity of 16% or less and a maximum thermal expansion ratio at a temperature up to 1500°C is 0.6% or less. |
