Zusammenfassung:An alignment system for approaching a vehicle (10) to a target object (40) spatially spaced therefrom is described, comprising an object detection means (20) attached to the vehicle (10) and a coupling element (30), which in an end position detachably holds the target object (40), the object detection means (20) being aligned in the direction of the target object (40) and the data from the object detection means (20) being used to generate an image in which the target object (40) together with a guide marker (50) can be seen during the approach of the vehicle (10). The object of the invention was to develop a technically simpler solution for displaying a guide marker (50). According to the invention the underlying object is solved in that the guide marker (50) is applied to at least one component (11) of the vehicle (10) arranged in an entry area (31) of the coupling element (30).
