Embodiments of the present invention relate to the technical field of water heaters, and in particular to a water heater. The embodiments of the present invention aim to solve the problem of low service life of related water heaters. A water heater in an embodiment of the 5 present invention includes an inner tank, a fixing member, a scale-inhibiting component, and an anti-correction component. The inner tank has a mounting opening, the mounting opening is sealed by the fixing member, and the fixing member is detachably connected to the inner tank; the scale-inhibiting component and the anti-corrosion component are detachably connected to one side of the fixing member which faces an inside of the inner tank. By the 10 above arrangement, the anti-corrosion component is used to protect the inner tank to avoid an inner wall of the inner tank to be corroded, thereby improving the service life of the water heater. The scale-inhibiting component is used to inhibit the formation of scales in the inner tank, thereby delaying the formation speed of scales on the inner wall of the inner tank, therefore, the service life of the water heater can be further prolonged.
