In some examples, a computer system displays a representation of a user having different appearances based on direct information about a state of a body of the user not being received for one or more predetermined amounts of time. In some examples, a computer system displays different mouth representations of a representation of a user based on captured information about a physical state of a mouth of the user. In some examples, a computer system displays different portions of a hair representation of a representation of a user based on a distance at which portions of the hair representation are positioned from a respective portion of the representation of the user. In some examples, a computer system displays a boundary portion of a representation of a user that is visually emphasized as compared to an interior portion of the representation of the user.
