Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a method for winding preforms in order to produce tampons. In the method according to the invention, a material band is supplied. Band-like strips are separated from this material band and, by means of at least one drive roller (19), are pushed into a continuously rotating winding drum (16) such that the strip is positioned between a winding fork and a blade in such a way that, when the winding fork moves around the blade, the blade presses a portion of the strip into a fork spacing of the winding fork and thus allows entrainment. The present invention also relates to a corresponding device for carrying out the method according to the invention.
