Zusammenfassung:	The present disclosure provides a candle that includes a jar having an interior surface, a fuel within the jar, a wick positioned within the fuel, and a material layer at least partially extending between the fuel and the interior surface of the jar, wherein the material layer includes a hydrophobic molecule. Further provided herein is a method for producing a candle, which includes a step of providing a jar having an interior surface, a step of pre-coating the interior surface with a hydrophobic molecule, a step of pouring a fuel composition into the jar, and a step of allowing the fuel composition to solidify.
