Zusammenfassung:	An aspect of the present disclosure relates to an intra-oral device. The intra-oral device comprises a lower arch component and an upper arch component, wherein the lower arch component is configured to be advanced relative to the upper arch component. The intra-oral device further comprises sensors configured for detecting characteristics of a patient, wherein the sensors are disposed in the upper arch component or the lower arch component, wherein the characteristics comprise indicators of sleep apnea on the patient and the advancement of the lower arch component relative to the upper arch component. The intra-oral device further comprises a processor in communication with the sensors to receive the detected characteristics, wherein the detected characteristics are used to determine efficacy of the intra-oral device in reducing the sleep apnea of the patient.
