Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to an incontinence article for absorbing body excretions, comprising a top sheet which is permeable to liquids at least in some regions, a back sheet which is substantially impermeable to liquids, and an absorption element which is arranged between the top sheet and the back sheet, wherein the absorption element has a storing suction element and a transfer component, and the transfer component is arranged between the storage suction element and the top sheet. The transfer component comprises at least one upper transfer layer and a lower transfer layer, and a pH regulator is introduced between the upper transfer layer and the lower transfer layer.
