The present description relates to a device (201) comprising: a microscope objective (210) with an optical axis (Δ); a frame (220) comprising a distal portion (221) in which the microscope objective is arranged; a first end piece (230) configured to be attached in a removable manner, in a first operating mode of in vivo microscopic analysis of the skin, to the distal portion of the frame; a second end piece (250) configured to be removably fixed, in a second operating mode of ex vivo microscopic analysis of a sample, to the distal portion of the frame; a sample holder (260) with a receiving surface (263); a support (270) configured to cooperate with the second end piece in the second operating mode, so as to receive the frame such that the optical axis of the microscope objective is substantially aligned in a predetermined direction relative to the receiving surface.
