Zusammenfassung:	An inflatable hearing protection device, comprising: a longitudinal central core element; an expandable sheath shrouding and anchored to the central core element, wherein the expandable sheath includes a proximal end portion and a distal end portion; and a cap element in operative fluid communication with the proximal end portion of the expandable sheath, wherein the cap element contains a volume of a fluid and is configured to invert from a generally convex shape to a generally concave shape to adjustably displace the fluid to inflate the distal end portion of the expandable sheath to facilitate an acoustic ear canal seal.
