Zusammenfassung:	A packaging system includes a holder (102) and an inner container, such as an inner tray or a vial. The holder includes a top portion (102a) and a bottom portion (102b) that cooperate to form a cavity (118a, 118b) configured to receive and retain one or more medical products therein, such as one or more tissue specimens. The inner container defines an interior region configured to receive the holder therein. The holder includes sidewalls that form the cavity, and the sidewalls include channels (122) configured to fluidly connect the cavity to the interior region of the inner container. The packaging system may further comprise an outer container including a well configured to receive the inner container therein. The packaging system may allow the medical product(s) to be packaged in a liquid, which may facilitate storage and/or preservation of the medical product(s).
