The roller path member (208) may include a leading side (208a) and a trailing side (208b) in a direction of travel of the machine (100). The roller path member (208) may include a hardened region (302) that extends from the roller path surface (210) and a body region (304) adjacent the hardened region (302). The hardened region (302) may have a greater hardness than the body region (304). The hardened region (302) may have a uniform depth from the leading side (208a) to the trailing side (208b) of the roller path member (208).
