Zusammenfassung:The present disclosure discloses a 700 MPa grade hot-formed axle housing steel, the mass fractions of chemical components of which are: C: 0.17% to 0.27%, Si: 0.30% to 0.50%, Mn: 1.2% to 1.8%, P: ≤0.02% , S: ≤0.009%, Ti: ≤0.1%, and Cr: ≤0.2%, the balance being Fe and unavoidable impurities, among which the mass fractions of Si and Mn satisfy 0.23 ≤ Si/Mn ≤ 0.27. The present disclosure further discloses a preparation method therefor, comprising: using the above chemical components to carry out smelting, continuous casting, heating, roughing and finishing, and coiling and processing, during which the heating temperature is 1180°C to 1220°C, and the heating time is 150 min to 200 min, to obtain the 700 MPa grade hot-formed axle housing steel. The steel has excellent mechanical properties before and after heat treatment, and the plate has no obvious micro-banded structures after the heat treatment and has excellent impact toughness.
