Zusammenfassung:	A folding apparatus and an electronic device. The electronic device comprises the folding apparatus and a flexible display screen. The folding apparatus is used for carrying the flexible display screen. An elastic assembly of the folding apparatus can transmit the elastic force to the flexible display screen by means of a housing of the folding apparatus. The force borne by the flexible display screen distant from a main shaft when the electronic device is in a flattened state is greater than the force borne by the flexible display screen distant from the main shaft when the electronic device is in a closed state. Therefore, when the electronic device is unfolded from the folded state to the flattened state, layered dislocation of the flexible display screen can be reduced, and crease recovery of the flexible display screen can be accelerated, thereby improving the flattening effect of the flexible display screen.
