Zusammenfassung:	A method (200) for assembling a fuel cell humidifier (100) can include steps (202, 204) of providing a first humidifier plate (108) and a humidifier membrane (106). The first humidifier plate (108) can have a first top plate surface (114). The humidifier membrane (106) can have a bottom membrane surface (154). The bottom membrane surface (154) of the humidifier membrane (106) can be disposed on the first top plate surface (114) of the first humidifier plate (108). The first humidifier plate (108) can be partially melted. This can permit the first top plate surface (114) of the first humidifier plate (108) to permeate into the bottom membrane surface (154) of the humidifier membrane (106). The first humidifier plate (108) can be cooled, which can fuse the first top plate surface (114) of the first humidifier plate (108) with the bottom membrane surface (154) of the humidifier membrane (106).
