Zusammenfassung:The present invention provides a gyratory crusher comprising a concave that forms a crushing chamber and a mantle secured to a main shaft, wherein: state information on at least one of a plurality of diagnostic factors is acquired, the factors including the state of lubrication of a lower bearing that bears the lower part of the main shaft, vibration of a meshing part included in a mechanism for transmitting motive power from a drive motor to an eccentric sleeve through which the main shaft is inserted, and vibration of a shaft bearing included in the motive power transmission mechanism; a failure sign level, which is an indicator of an incidence of failure, is calculated on the basis of the state information; and when the failure sign level exceeds a prescribed first threshold value, there is performed a service-life-extending operation associated with at least one of a plurality of service-life-extending measures including reducing the amount of crushed material supplied and increasing/reducing the rotational speed of the eccentric sleeve, until the failure sign level falls below a prescribed second threshold value lower than the first threshold value, at least immediately after the failure sign level exceeds the first threshold value.
