Zusammenfassung:A ventilator comprising: a housing; a gas inlet port disposed in the housing and adapted to be coupled to a gas source to receive a flow of gas; a valve assembly coupled with the gas inlet port for controlling flow of gas from the gas inlet port to a gas outlet port disposed in the housing and adapted for being coupled to a patient interface to fluidly couple the gas outlet port to the airway of a patient; a controller module disposed in the housing, the controller module comprising a controller operatively coupled with the valve assembly to control operation of the valve assembly; an airway pressure sensor positioned between the valve assembly and the patient interface to measure air flow output into flowing into the airway of the patient; wherein the pressure sensor is operatively connected to said controller module to control the operation of the valve assembly in response to changes in air flow output measured by the airway pressure sensor during use.
