Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a rockfall control structure (1) for installation between a mountain side (BS) and a valley side (TS) of a mountain slope (B), comprising at least two guide devices (2A, 2B) for a net (3), which has an upper edge (4) and a lower edge (5), and comprising an upper carrying cable (6) which guides the upper edge (4) on the guide devices (2A, 2B), characterized in that at least one central cable (7A) is provided which extends from an upper end point (8A), which is fixed on the upper carrying cable (6), to a lower end point (9A) which can be fixed on the mountain slope (B).
