Electrochemical pump and delivery device

Disclosed are an electrochemical pump and a delivery device. The electrochemical pump (10) comprises a substrate (11), electrodes (12a, 12b), a dam body (13) and a control circuit (15). The control circuit (15) selectively starts an electrochemical reaction on the surfaces of the electrodes (12a, 12b) with a pulse signal. An enabling pulse (P1) of the pulse signal includes a plurality of sub-enabling pulses (P2). The electrochemical pump (10) further contains an insulating layer (121) which covers the edges of the electrodes (12a, 12b) and exposes part of the electrodes (12a, 12b). The electrochemical pump uses the composite pulse to intermittently start the electrochemical reaction, such as to effectively save power, thereby prolonging the service life of the electrochemical pump. The bonding strength between the electrode and the substrate is increased by means of covering the edge of the electrode with the insulating layer, such that electrode delamination is prevented.
