Rain head and screen therefor

A rain head (10) comprises a lower body (12), a screen (16) and an upper body (12). The screen (16) includes a frame (32) having a trough or recess (34). Lower parts of the sidewalls of the upper body 14 can fit into the trough or recess (34) to enable the upper body (14) to be removably mounted to the rain head (10). The screen (16) also includes a peripheral flange (38) and a downwardly extending lip (46) that enable the screen (16) to be removably mounted to the upper part of the lower body (12). At least some water splashing off the screen during a rain event comes into contact with the upper body and is re-directed to flow into the lower body (12) and out through the outlet (18) of the lower body (12) to a rainwater collection tank. The screen and upper body may be provided separately to the lower body.
