Zusammenfassung:A cooking system for cooking food. The cooking system comprises a housing having a hollow interior; and a lid movable between an open position and a closed position relative to said 5 housing to selectively close an opening to said hollow interior. In both said open position and said closed position, said at least one lid is affixed to said housing. The cooking system also includes at least one heating element disposed within one of said housing and said lid. The cooking system is operable in a plurality of modes including a first mode and a second mode. During operation of the cooking system in said first mode, said lid is arranged in said closed 10 position, and during operation of the cooking system in said second mode, said lid is arranged in said open position.
