Zusammenfassung:Abstract A swimming pool structure 1 for an in-ground installation, the pool structure 1 includes a pool shell for holding a body of water and an external framework 5 for supporting an exterior surface of the pool shell, wherein the framework 5 abuts and closely follows the exterior surface of the pool shell at selected positions, thereby providing a framework 5 which restricts deformation of the pool shell when filled with water. The swimming pool structure 1 has sufficient rigidity to enable the structure to be installed in-ground without requiring any back-fill like a conventional fibreglass pool shell. Furthermore, the rigidity of the pool structure 1 provided by bracing structures ensures that the pool shell does not require a concrete bond beam around the periphery of the pool shell like a conventional fibreglass pool shell. The swimming pool structure 1 is also suitable for above ground installation and is able to be installed much quicker than a conventional fibreglass pool shell and does not require a fully licenced pool installer. 15113535_3 (GHMatters) P46196AU00 NOTE: Pool shell may be either fully above ground as shown or partly /fully in ground 3 Floor & walls -5mm min thick 15 Fully welded RHS75x50x6mmR Coping -R7S100n 50ickm Pool shell to bebedded on firmnground with a 11safe bearing capacity of 100 kPa minimum RHS steel stiffening frames fibreglassed to poolshellsizeandspacingtosuitpooidepth DETAILED STIFFENING FRAMES Figure 4
