Zusammenfassung:	A device for preparing a liquid sample for isothermal nucleic acid amplification is disclosed, comprising a first part and a separate second part receivable in the first part, wherein the first part comprises a chamber for receiving the liquid sample and the second part comprises a separation element for removing nucleic acid amplification inhibiting agents and/or fluorescent agents from the liquid sample, wherein when the second part is received in the first part, the first and second part operably engage to move liquid sample from the sample chamber to the separation element.
