Zusammenfassung: | 5 The present invention is a method for preparation of Catharanthus roseus plant extract and to determine the Antioxidant and Antidiabetic activities of flower extracts from Catharanthus Roseus of the Apocynaceae family . The samples are extracted with methanol and the extracts obtained were screened for Phytochemical analysis and GC-MS analysis .The extracts were also underwent Phospho molybdenum, 2, 2-diphenyl- 1-picrylhydrazyl .0 (DPPH), ferric reducing antioxidant power (FRAP) invitro assays. The flowers that are chosen are white and purple colour flowers of Catharanthus roseus and a comparitive analysis was done. |
