CHEMICAL MEDIATED SYNTHESIS OF POLYANILINE/TUNGSTENOXIDE (PANI/WO3) NANOCOMPOSITES AND THEIR ANTIBACTERIAL ACTIVITY AGAINST CLINICAL PATHOGENIC BACTERIA

A method for preparation of polyaniline/ tungsten oxide (PANI/WO 3 ) nanocomposites, the method comprises of: dissolving (0.5-2 molar) of HCL acid (104) with (0.05-0.2 molar) aniline (102), wherein agitating dissolved solution for about 20-40 minutes; adding ammonium persulphate solution (0.05-0.15 molar) (106) with the dissolved solution upon continuous stirring for about 5-6 hours at 0-5 degree Celsius; adding a tungsten oxide (W0 3 ) (108) having a plurality of weight % (10-50 weight %) to added solution with continuous stirring for preparing a composite metal oxide solution, wherein solution is precipitated to form a powder; and vacuum filtering the powder and washing the powder with de ionized water, wherein the precipitated water is dried in an oven for 23-25 hours for achieving constant weight.
