AN ADAPTOGENIC HERBAL COMPOSITION AND A METHOD TO PRODUCE THE ADAPTOGENIC HERBAL COMPOSITION

The present disclosure relates to an adaptogenic herbal composition and a method for producing the adaptogenic herbal composition for reducing stress and/or other co morbidities. The composition comprises: a B. hispida hydro-alcoholic (HABH) extract. The method comprises: washing and peeling the B. hispida fruits wherein, a fruit pulp was slashed into small slices; drying thefruit slices in an oven at and pulverizing a dried fruit slices into a coarse powder; mixing the powdered fruit pulp in ethanol (70:30 ethanol-water) for 72 hours with a sporadic shaking; filtering a fruit extract from a mixture of the powdered fruit pulp and ethanol after 72 hours; and concentrating the fruit extract wherein, the concentrated extract was stored at a cool temperature and protected from direct sunlight.
