Zusammenfassung:	A maintenance plan assistance system 100 is configured such that a storage device 101 holds remaining life information relating to devices covered by a maintenance plan, and a list of maintenance menus, and a computation device 104: identifies, on the basis of the maintenance menus and temporal changes in failure rates of the devices indicated by the remaining life information, a maintenance effect that would be obtained if each of the maintenance menus is applied to the devices; identifies a variable range of the timing for condition-based maintenance, the variable range being dependent on said maintenance effect; determines, for a prescribed timing for maintenance, a maintenance menu that includes said variable range; and outputs, to a prescribed device, the maintenance menu identified by said determination and the timing for implementing the condition-based maintenance, the timing having been changed to said prescribed timing for maintenance.
