Zusammenfassung:	The preparation of transdermal pharmaceutical compositions comprising cannabidiol (CBD) and use thereof in the treatment of seizure disorders is disclosed. Preferably, the CBD is provided in the form of a highly purified extract of cannabis that comprises at least 90 % (w/w) of cannabidiol. The transdermal compositions may take a number of different forms and incorporate various different excipients (such as propylene glycol and hexylene glycol). The seizure disorders treated include various types of treatment resistant epilepsy (TRE).
