Zusammenfassung:	According to the present invention, a camera unit (39) is easily attached to the lower side of the outer edge portion of a roof (16).　A protection mechanism (9) for a work vehicle (1) is equipped with: the roof (16), which is provided above a driver seat; support columns (45), which are provided upright on a vehicle body (5) and support the roof (16); the camera unit (39), which monitors a prescribed direction; and a support stay (130), which is connected to a support column (45), orients the monitoring direction of the camera unit (39) sideward and supports the camera unit (39) on the lower side of the outer edge portion of the roof (16). The support columns (45) include front support columns (46) that support the front portion of the roof (16), and rear support columns (48) that support the rear portion of the roof. The support stay (130) is connected to the rear support column (48).
