Zusammenfassung:	An implant device is provided that includes a first substantially planar plate, a second substantially planar plate and a linkage between the first and second plates. A translation mechanism in the second plate causes the linkage to move from a collapsed position where the first plate and the second plate are substantially parallel with each other to an expanded position where the first plate is pushed away from the second plate in a diagonal direction such that the first plate and the second plate form an angle with respect to each other.
