Zusammenfassung: | Our Invention "IMTH- Biomedical Waste Management "is an integrated medical waste management and treatment system may include sensors, interlocks, communications links and other features for determining if the waste itself, the decontaminating disinfectant used in the process, or the status of the system are consistent with recommended or authorized system operation. The invented technology to be terminated if a condition inconsistent with recommended or authorized system operation is detected and such compliance apparatus may include an electronic scale for determining the weight of the waste loaded into the receiver compartment, a metal detector, or a sensor for determining if the decontaminating disinfectant is a recommended or authorized disinfectant. The invented technology a communications link may be provided one or more systems to transmit information to a central station to deliver updates or commands associated with the recommended or authorized operation of each system. The invented technology a comprehensive medical waste management system for establishing and maintaining medical waste preparedness and cradle to grave asset management in the event of non-emergency and emergency situations is disclosed, where the system includes at least a central control subsystem, a warehousing subsystem, a distribution subsystem, a tracking subsystem, a retrieval subsystem, and a disposal subsystem, and methods for making and using same. The invented technology a waste materials containing pathogenic microorganisms may be processed by a method that includes granulating the waste material treating the granulated waste material by heating at a temperature of about 1620 to about 202° C. at a pressure of about 92 to about 224 psi in an atmosphere of the steam from a non-isotonic salt solution. The invented technology the treatment is conducted for a period of time sufficient to substantially reduce the amount of pathogenic microorganisms in the waste material. After treatment, the material is separated into useful solid and liquid phases. 602 --- y en -iqw -- Receive Site Infonmation -- Direct KICt Deployrnrt Trnpr -4tieie 608 - --- [Med14:=1 Waut me iko Sites Receive Ce staineried DLpose ofGCOtainertzed 612 --- Medica W aste FIG. 1: DEPICTS A CONCEPTUAL FLOW CHART OF THE OPERATIONS OF THE SYSTEM. |
