Sensory backpack for children with specific sensory needs

The present invention comprises a novel sensory backpack that is designed to meet a variety of specific sensory needs that individuals diagnosed with autism and other related disorders are faced with. These sensory needs are considered basic needs for an individual diagnosed with autism and if the sensory needs are not met, the individual is not able to cope in different environments. By providing sensory input through a backpack that is comfortable, durable and easy to wear, a child would be able to have access to the necessary sensory input wherever they go. This would enable a child to leave the home environment with his/her family to go on outings and short trips, while remaining calm, organized and in control of their emotions and impulses.
