Zusammenfassung:	The invention discloses a flame-retardant HIPS material and a preparation method thereof, including components: 90-67 parts of hips resin, 8-15 parts of brominated flame retardant, 3-7 parts of auxiliary flame retardant, wherein the auxiliary flame retardant is 1,3,5-triazine compound. The invention can effectively reduce the dosage of brominated flame retardant by cooperating with brominated flame retardant and auxiliary flame retardant, and can reach stable UL 94 (1.5mm) V-0 Flame retardant grade; compared with the existing brominated flame retardant HIPS, it has low halogen content, low gas, high cost performance, it can avoid excessive acid gas from forming gas lines on the surface of the work piece, and has a good appearance, and can be widely used in the field of thin-walled parts, such as office equipment, film and television multimedia, home appliances, etc.
