Zusammenfassung: | Abstract This invention is related to a cooling device for controlling the temperature of Lithium ion batteries and more particularly phase change inhibited materials are utilized as the coolant for improving the performance of Lithium ion batteries. The cooling device uses phase change inhibited materials based fluids which is sealed in channels on the surface of the battery, through achieving maximum contact area with the battery. Because of the ultra-high thermal conductivity of phase change inhibited material, the heat generated from charge-discharge processes can be quickly removed, thus maintain the temperature of the battery pack in normal range which can improve the performance and safety factors of lithium ion battery.
