| Zusammenfassung: | This outdoor unit for an air conditioner comprises a housing and a partition plate that partitions the interior of the housing into a machine compartment in which equipment to be energized is stored and a blower compartment in which a blower is stored, the partition plate being formed with a wiring passage through which wiring connected to the blower passes. This outdoor unit for an air conditioner is equipped with a box-shaped water-receiving component which is provided in the machine compartment in such a manner that a side wall thereof faces the wiring passage. The water-receiving component is formed with a first opening in a portion of the side wall which faces the wiring passage, and a second opening formed on the upper part of the water-receiving component through which the wiring drawn from the water-receiving component passes. The water-receiving component is attached to the partition plate with the peripheral edge of the first opening in contact with the partition plate. Formed between a portion of the bottom of the water-receiving component and partition plate is a gap through which the water received by the water-receiving component passes when discharged from the water-receiving component. The bottom of the water-receiving component is inclined toward the gap. |
