This wire manipulation tool comprises: a first wire gripping tool; a first rod member that is linked to the first wire gripping tool and can extend and contract due to a moving section moving relative to a base section; a second wire gripping tool; a second rod member that is linked to the second wire gripping tool; a linking member that separably links the moving section of the first rod member and the second rod member; and a load support member that, when the moving section of the first rod member and the second rod member are in a separated condition, can support a tensile load acting on the first wire gripping tool and the second wire gripping tool.
