Zusammenfassung:This method for manufacturing an Sm-Fe-N magnet comprises: a seal step (S10) for filling magnet powder having an Sm-Fe-N compound as a main component into a metal sheath and performing a seal; a magnetic field application step (S12) for applying a magnetic field to the magnet powder sealed with the metal sheath and magnetic field orienting the magnet powder to align the magnetic field orienting direction into one direction, thereby performing magnetization; a preliminary rolling step (S14) for preliminary rolling the magnet powder sealed with the metal sheath and magnetic-field-oriented to change, to a green compact, the magnet powder that is magnetic-field-oriented; and a pressurizing step (S16) for pressurizing the green compact sealed with the metal sheath and densifying the green compact to form a magnet, wherein in the preliminary rolling step (S14), the magnet powder sealed with the metal sheath and magnetic-field-oriented is slightly rolled with a smaller pressure than a pressure in the pressurizing step (S16).
