| Zusammenfassung: | Abstract A lock comprising a bolt mechanism comprising a rotationally mounted bolt and a rotary actuator operationally coupled to the rotationally mounted bolt, the rotary actuator being operable to rotationally withdraw the rotationally mounted bolt; and a cam mechanism independently operable of the bolt mechanism and a movably mounted interference member (in the form of a slidably mounted plate) operationally arranged with the cam mechanism, the movably mounted interference member being movable, by operation of the cam mechanism, into interference with the bolt mechanism when the rotationally mounted bolt is at least one of: (i) withdrawn, and so prevent the rotationally mounted bolt from being extended; and (ii) extended, and so prevent the rotationally mounted bolt from being withdrawn.
