The seat is provided with a pair of recesses (37, 38, 57, 58, 67, 68) or a coalesced pair of recesses (137, 138, 157, 158, 167, 168) which are spaced apart and sized to reduce, but not eliminate, pressure on the ischial tuberosities of a sitter.
