Zusammenfassung: | A therapeutic magnetic field device, is described, the device comprising (a) a magnetic field generator; (b) a magnetic field sensor; (c) a data entry panel, permitting a user to input time periods and electromagnetic field strengths, for an electromagnetic field 5 production regime; and (d) a data processor including non-transitory computer readable memory, adapted to control said magnetic field generator to output a magnetic field in accordance with data received from said data entry panel. Also described is a method for enhancing the chemotherapeutic treatment of cancer tumors, comprising the steps of placing the patient into the therapeutic magnetic field device; administering a 10 chemotherapeutic cocktail to a patient, wherein said chemotherapeutic cocktail comprises a first chemotherapeutic agent, said first chemotherapeutic agent having a biological half-life, and an optimal field strength that is dictated by a specific quantum state of said first chemotherapeutic agent; during administration of the chemotherapeutic cocktail, exposing the patient to a magnetic field; and after 15 administration of said chemotherapeutic cocktail, continuing to expose the patient to said magnetic field for a duration up to five-times the biological half-life of said first chemotherapeutic agent.
