Zusammenfassung:The present invention provides a wear-resistant steel which is characterized by having a chemical composition that contains, in mass%, 0.10-0.20% of C, 0.01-1.20% of Si, 0.01-2.00% of Mn, less than 0.017% of P, 0.010% or less of S, 0.01-0.70% of Cu, 0.01-1.00% of Ni, 0-1.50% of Cr, 0-0.80% of Mo, 0-0.50% of W, 0-0.050% of Nb, 0-0.20% of V, 0-0.030% of Ti, 0-0.0030% of B, 0.0001-0.0070% of N, 0.001-0.10% of Al, 0-0.0050% of Ca, 0-0.0050% of Zr, 0-0.0050% of Mg and 0-0.0050% of REM, with the balance being made up of Fe and impurities, and which is also characterized in that: the metal structure at the position of 1/4 the thickness from the surface in the thickness direction has a total area ratio of martensite and lower bainite of 50-100%, while having an average crystal grain size of prior austenite of 5-23 μm; and the Brinell hardness at the position of 1 mm from the surface in the thickness direction is 360-440. The present invention also provides a method for producing this wear-resistant steel.
