Zusammenfassung:	A slurry handling apparatus comprising at least one reception hopper (10Α,10Β) comprising a base (12), a rear wall (18) and opposing side walls (14,16), an opening (20) being provided in the base (12), wherein slurry delivered into the reception hopper (10Α,10Β) from a tanker (2) can pass through the opening (20) in the base (12), a respective first dewatering screen (30A, 30B) having an apertured screening deck (32) being located beneath the at least one reception hopper (10Α,10Β) whereby slurry passing through the opening is delivered onto the deck (32) of the respective screen (30A, 30B), undersize material and water passing through the apertures of the deck (32) to be received within a sump (44), oversize material passing over the deck (32) to be discharged from a downstream end of the deck (32).
