Disposable hygiene article

Disposable hygiene article comprising a liquid-permeable topsheet, a liquid-impermeable backsheet and an absorbent core;adapted to be releasably attached to a garment and comprising liquid side barriers arranged substantially along longitudinal edges of said absorbent core. The article has a front portion,which is intended to be oriented upwards during use,having a generally tapering shape with a first, maximum width of the front portion, measured between first left and right edge points, and a second, minimum width, measured between second left and right edge points. A first imaginary connection line connects the first right edge point to the second right edge point and a second imaginary connection line connects the first left edge point to the second left edge point. The first and second imaginary connection lines extend in an angle ranging between 60° and 90°with the transverse direction T and have a length of at least 15% of the full length of the article.
