Zusammenfassung:	A closure for a receptacle that contains carbonated liquid. The closure has a first part (1) forming a main housing and a second part (3) that is movable relative to the first part. The closure also having a compression disc (2) manually depressible to move the second part relative to the first part to form or increase a gap within the closure in which a controlled amount of gas can be expelled from the receptacle thereby to reduce the pressure within the receptacle.
