A digging assembly for a rope shovel, the rope shovel including a frame having a base and a boom, and a hoist cable extending over an end of the boom, the digging assembly comprising: a handle including a first end and a second end, the first end configured to be coupled to a digging attachment supported by the hoist cable, the handle configured to be supported for rotational and translational movement by a pivot element positioned between the ends of the boom; a fluid conduit extending between the frame and the first end of the handle; and a support structure coupled to at least a portion of the fluid conduit, a portion of the support structure movable relative to at least one of the frame and the handle in response to movement of the handle relative to the frame. 9541960 1 (GHMatters) P98050.AU.1 co
