Zusammenfassung:	A base unit for use with a mill head used to mill bone, said base unit having a housing, a motor disposed in said housing, a spindle attached to said motor to rotate upon actuation of said motor, the spindle having an alignment pin that extends upwardly from said spindle head and is dimensioned to seat in a complementary opening in the mill head, and a plurality of teeth that are located radially outwardly from said alignment pin wherein said teeth do not extend as far above the spindle head as far said alignment pin extends wherein, said teeth are configured to seat in complementary openings in the mill head so that the rotation of said spindle results in a like rotation of the mill head.
